Cluster Message Mismatch (Active)
SYMPTOMCLUSTER MESSAGE MISMATCH (ACTIVE)
WHEN MONITORED
Continuously when the ignition is ON.
SET CONDITION
Meter the cluster bulb check the ACM compares the ACM and MIC lamp messages. If the ACM warning lamp request (ON or OFF) and the MIC warning lamp state (ON or OFF) messages do not match after 2 continuous secondsthe code will set.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Active code present only with PAB ON/OFF SW OFF
- Faulty instrument cluster
- Airbag Control Module defective cluster message mismatch
