Passenger Squib Circuit Shorted to Battery (Active)

SYMPTOM
PASSENGER SQUIB CIRCUIT SHORT TO BATTERY (ACTIVE)

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
With voltage ON, the Passenger Airbag Line 1 or Line 2 circuit(s) is other than expected.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Active code present only with PAB ON/OFF SW OFF
- ACM defective, PAB circuit shorted to battery
- ACM defective, PAB circuit shorted to voltage
- PAB line 1 or line 2 shorted to battery
- PAD/PAB line 1 or line 2 shorted to battery
- PAB LINE 1 or line 2 shorted to voltage
- PAD ON/OFF switch short to voltage
