Passenger Squib Circuit Shorted to Ground (Active)

SYMPTOM
PASSENGER SQUIB CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND (ACTIVE)

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
With voltage ON, the Passenger Airbag Line 1 or Line 2 circuit(s) is other than expected.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Active code present only with PAB ON/OFF SW OFF
- Passenger squib short to ground
- Passenger airbag module shorted to ground
- ACM defective, PAB circuit shorted to ground
- ACM defective, PAB input shorted to ground
- PAB line 1 or line 2 shorted to ground
- PAB line 1 or line 2 shorted to ground
- PAD/PAB line 1 or line 2 shorted to ground
- PAD ON/OFF switch shorted to ground
