Warning Lamp Open/Shorted (Active)

SYMPTOM
WARNING LAMP OPEN/SHORTED (ACTIVE)

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
ACM monitors the CCD Bus for the Airbag Warning Lamp diagnostic message from the Instrument Cluster. This message is transmitted once every second, and upon the change of lamp state. The message will contain the status of the bulb and the bulb driver.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Active code present only with PAB ON/OFF SW OFF
- ACM defective, warning lamp circuit
- MIC bulb state defective
- MIC driver state defective
- No warning lamp diagnostic message
