P0463 Fuel Level Sending Unit Volts Too High
SYMPTOMP-0463 FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT VOLTS TOO HIGH
WHEN MONITOREDED
Ignition on and battery voltage above 10.4 volts.
SET CONDITION
The fuel level sensor signal circuit voltage at the PCM goes above 9.4 volts.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Fuel level sensor ground circuit open
- Fuel pump module wiring harness defective
- Low fuel sense circuit open
- Fuel level sending unit wiring harness int def
- Fuel level sending unit wiring harness obs def
- Fuel pump module defective
- Powertrain control module defective
