P1296 No 5 Volts to MAP Sensor

SYMPTOM
P-1296 NO 5 VOLTS TO MAP SENSOR

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition off and battery voltage greater than 10.4 volts.

SET CONDITION
The MAP sensor signal voltage is below 2.35 volts for the first 5.0 seconds of key off.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- No possible causes remaining
- 5-volt supply circuit open
- MAP sensor defective
- MAP sensor harness/connectors observable def
- MAP sensor wiring harness/connectors intermittent def
- PCM defective
