Driver Squib Circuit Shorted to Ground (Active)

SYMPTOM
DRIVER SQUIB CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND (ACTIVE)

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
With voltage ON, the Driver Airbag Line 1 or Line 2 circuit(s) is other than expected.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Active code present only with PAB ON/OFF SW OFF
- Drivers airbag line 1 or line 2 shorted to ground
- Airbag Control Module defective, driver airbag CKT shorted to ground
- Clockspring shorted to ground
- Driver airbag shorted to ground
