SYMPTOM
P-0222 IDLE VALID SIGNALS LOW

WHEN MONITORED
Key-On.

SET CONDITION
Both IVS #1 and/or IVS #2 indicate no voltage signal.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Accel pedal position sensor defective
- APPS ground circuit open
- IVS #1 circuit open
- IVS #1 / IVS #2 short circuit
- IVS #2 circuit open
- IVS #1 circuit short to sensor ground
- IVS #2 circuit short to ground
- Engine control module defective
- Engine control module defective
- IVS #1 circuit short to APPS return
- IVS #1 circuit short to ground
- IVS #2 circuit short to APPS return
- IVS #2 circuit short to sensor ground
