Passenger Squib Circuit Shorted to Battery (Active)

SYMPTOM
PASSENGER SQUIB CKT SHORTED TO BATTERY (ACTIVE)

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
With voltage on, the passenger airbag line 1 or line 2 circuit(s) is other than expected.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Active code present only with PAB ON/OFF SW OFF
- Passenger SQUIB terminal not short to battery
- Passenger airbag line 1 or line 2 shorted to voltage
- Passenger airbag / PAD switch line 1 or line 2 short to voltage
- ACM defective, passenger airbag line 1 or line 2 shorted
- Passenger airbag module shorted to battery
- Passenger airbag ON/OFF switch shorted to voltage
