Passenger Squib Circuit Shorted to Ground (Active)

SYMPTOM
PASSENGER SQUIB CKT SHORT TO GND (ACTIVE)

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
With the voltage ON, the passenger airbag line 1 or line 2 circuit(s) is other than expected.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Active code present only with PAB ON/OFF SW OFF
- PAB/PAD switch line 1 or line 2 shorted to ground
- Passenger airbag line 1 or line 2 shorted to ground
- ACM defective, line 1/line 2 short to ground
- Passenger airbag module shorted to ground
- PAB ON/OFF switch-passenger squib not shorted
- Passenger airbag ON/OFF switch short to GND
