Driver Squib Circuit Shorted to Ground (Active)

SYMPTOM
DRIVER SQUIB CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND (ACTIVE)

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
With the voltage ON, the driver airbag line 1 or line 2 circuit(s) is other than expected.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Active code present only with PAB ON/OFF SW OFF
- Driver airbag line 1 or line 2 short to ground
- Clockspring short to ground
- ACM defective, driver airbag short to ground
- Driver airbag module internal short to ground
