Seat Belt Control Timer Module Failure (Active)

SYMPTOM
SEAT BELT CONTROL TIMER MODULE FAILURE (ACTIVE)

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously after the ignition is ON.

SET CONDITION
If the voltage on the seat belt control timer module sense circuit is above 3.0 volts or below 1.0 volt the code will be set.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Active code present only with PAB ON/OFF SW OFF
- Fused B+ circuit open
- Fused ignition switch output circuit
- Seat belt control timer module sense circuit open
- Seat belt control timer module sense circuit voltage high
- ACM defective, seat belt control timer module open
- Seat belt control timer module open
- Seat belt control timer module open ground circuit
- Seat belt control timer module shorted to ground
- Seat belt control timer module defective,open
