Transmission Gear Case

1. Remove the remaining bolts holding the transmission gear case to the clutch housing.
2. Using a suitable punch and hammer, remove the shift socket roll pin. The correct size punch is 6 mm (7/32 inch).
3. Install Fixture 8232 to the transmission gear case.

4. Attach an engine crane, or equivalent, to Fixture 8232 and remove the transmission gear case from the clutch housing.
5. Using a suitable brass drift and hammer, remove the rear output shaft and countershaft bearing races from the transmission gear case.
