Warning Lamp Open/Shorted (Stored)

SYMPTOM
WARNING LAMP OPEN/SHORTED (STORED)

TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the test CLUSTER MESSAGE MISMATCH (STORED).

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
ACM will monitor the CCD Bus for the airbag warning lamp message from cluster. The message contains status of the bulb and bulb driver. The cluster will substitute the seat belt lamp for the airbag warning lamp, if the airbag warning lamp is defective.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Stored code has become active
- Stored code has not been reproduced
