Brake Light Switch: Adjustments

The content of this article reflects changes called for in TSB 26-12-98.

Depress the brake pedal and place a 1.5 mm (0.059 in.) shim between the striker and plunger. Then release the brake pedal and move switch release lever to engage the plunger. Remove shim.

CAUTION: The switch can only be adjusted during initial installation. If switch is not adjusted properly a new switch must be installed.
