Front Wiper Park Switch Circuit Shorted

Tests 1 - 3:

SYMPTOM
FRONT WIPER PARK SWITCH CIRCUIT SHORTED

WHEN MONITORED:
With ignition in RUN or ACCESSORY position and wiper On.

SET CONDITION:
The BCM, while monitoring the dwell switch, cannot determine when the wiper has left or returned to the park position.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Wiper park switch/toggle closed/open
- wiper park switch sense circuit shorted to ground
- Defective BCM/wiper park switch
- Defective wiper motor/wiper park switch
