SYMPTOM
CHECKING THE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Engine mechanical problem/oil pump
- Sensor ground circuit open
- Oil pressure sensor signal circuit open
- Oil pressure sensor signal circuit shorted to ground
- Oil pressure sensor signal circuit shorted to sensor ground circuit
- Wiring harness intermittent problem
- Oil pressure 5 volt supply circuit open
- Powertrain Control Module (open)
- Powertrain Control Module (shorted)
