Body Emblem: Service and Repair
EXTERIOR NAME PLATESREMOVAL
NOTE: Exterior nameplates are attached to body panels with adhesive tape.
1. Apply a length of masking tape on the body, parallel to the top edge of the nameplate to use as a guide, if necessary.

2. Warm the effected nameplate and body metal to approximately 38 degrees C (100 degrees F) using a suitable heat lamp or heat gun (Fig. 2) and (Fig. 3).
3. Carefully, pull or pry nameplate from painted surface.
INSTALLATION
1. Remove adhesive tape residue from painted surface of vehicle.
2. Clean body surface with MOPAR Super Kleen solvent or equivalent. Wipe surface dry with lint free cloth.
3. Remove protective cover from tape on back of nameplate. Apply nameplate to body below the masking tape guide.
4. Remove masking tape guide and heat body and nameplate. Firmly press nameplate to body surface to assure adhesion.
