REAR BUMPER

REMOVAL

1. Place a support under rear bumper.
2. Disconnect license plate lamp harness.

3. Remove bolts attaching bumper support brackets to body (Fig. 3).
4. Separate bumper and bumper support brackets from vehicle.
5. If necessary, remove support brackets from bumper.

INSTALLATION

1. If removed, install bumper support brackets to bumper. Tighten inner bracket nuts to 74 N.m (55 ft.lbs.) torque. Tighten outer bracket bolts to 101 N.m (75 ft.lbs.) torque.
2. Support and position bumper and support brackets at rear of vehicle.
3. Install bolts attaching bumper support brackets to body. Tighten bolts to 74 N.m (55 ft.lbs.) torque.
4. Connect license plate lamp harness.
5. Remove support.
