SYMPTOM
PASSENGER SQUIB CIRCUIT SHORTED (ACTIVE)

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
The ACM has detected low resistance in the Passenger Squib circuits.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Active code present only with PAB ON/OFF SW OFF
- Passenger airbag ON/OFF switch CKT problems
- Passenger airbag line 1 shorted to driver airbag line 1
- Passenger airbag line 2 shorted to driver airbag line 2
- Passenger airbag line 1 shorted to line 2
- Passenger airbag/ON/OFF switch line 1 shorted to line 2
- ACM defective, passenger airbag line 1 shorted to line 2
- Passenger airbag module shorted
