CYLINDER LOCK SWITCH FAILURE/LOCK

TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the test Cylinder Lock Switch Failure.

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously

SET CONDITION
If the CTM detects an open or shorted sense circuit.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Door key cylinder switch sense circuit- short/ground
- Cylinder lock switch defective
- Door key cylinder switch sense circuit open
- Defective central timer module- cylinder lock switch
