SYMPTOM
P0712-TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE SENSOR VOLTAGE TOO LOW

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the key ON and the engine running.

SET CONDITION
This code will set if the Transmission Temperature Sensor Signal circuit voltage goes below 1.55 volts for 2.2 seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- 5 volt supply circuit shorted to ground
- Intermittent Transmission Temperature Sensor
- 5 volt supply circuit shorted to the sensor ground circuit
- Transmission Temperature Sensor signal circuit shorted to ground
- Transmission Temperature Sensor signal circuit shorted to the sensor ground circuit
- 5 volt supply circuit shorted to ground inside transmission
- 5 volt supply circuit shorted to the sensor ground circuit inside transmission
- Transmission Temperature Sensor signal circuit shorted to ground inside transmission
- Transmission Temperature Sensor signal circuit shorted to the sensor ground circuit inside transmission
