Dome Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
Front Dome Lamp
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Using a small flat blade, pry the left side (driver's side) of the dome lamp lens downward from dome lamp.
3. Allow the lens to hang down, this will disengage the right side of the lamp (passenger's side) from the headliner.
4. Pull the right side of the lamp down and slide the lamp to the right.
5. Separate the lamp from the headliner.
6. Disengage dome lamp wire connector from body wire harness.

7. Separate dome lamp from vehicle.

Cargo Lamp
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Using a small flat blade, pry lens from lamp bezel.

3. Remove screws attaching lamp bezel to roof crossmember mounting brackets.
4. Detach bulb socket tabs from lamp bezel.
5. Remove lamp bezel.

INSTALLATION
Front Dome Lamp
1. Position dome lamp at headliner.
2. Connect dome lamp wire connector to body wire harness.
3. Position the left side of the lamp in the headliner opening and slide lamp to the left.
4. Push the right side of the lamp in the head-liner opening and push the lamp lens up into the lamp to secure.
5. Connect the battery negative cable.

Cargo Lamp
1. Position lamp bezel in headliner opening.
2. Insert bulb socket tabs in lamp bezel.
3. Align lamp bezel with roof cross member mounting brackets and install screws.
4. Install the lamp lens.
5. Connect the battery negative cable.
