SYMPTOM
PASSENGER SQUIB SHORT TO BATTERY - ACTIVE
WHEN MONITORED
When the ignition is ON, the ACM monitors the voltage of the Passenger Squib circuits.
SET CONDITION
The ACM has detected high voltage on the Passenger Squib circuits.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
- PAB airbag circuits shorted to battery between ACM switch
- DTC active with PAB in OFF position only
- PAB shorted to battery - with switch
- PAB circuits shorted between ON/OFF switch and PAB module
- ACM, PAB short to battery - with switch
- Passenger airbag short to battery
- Passenger airbag line 1 or line 2 short to battery
- PAB ON/OFF switch shorted to battery
- ACM, Passenger airbag short to battery
