Warning Indicator Circuit Open/Shorted (Active)

Test 1:

SYMPTOM
WARNING INDICATOR CIRCUIT OPEN-SHORT - ACTIVE

WHEN MONITORED
With ignition ON, the ACM monitors the CCD bus for the instrument cluster airbag indicator status message. The message contains the airbag warning indicator bulb state, MIC BULB STATE: OK or FAILED.

SET CONDITION
The code will set if the MIC message contains a MIC BULB STATE: FAILED message for 2 seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Airbag warning indicator CKT open or short
