License Plate Lamp: Service and Repair

LICENSE PLATE LAMP UNIT

REMOVAL
Base and Standard Bumper
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove license plate.

3. Remove screws attaching lamp to bumper (Fig.15).
4. Disconnect lamp wire harness connector.
5. Separate lamp from bumper.

Step Bumper
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

2. Remove screws attaching lamp to bumper (Fig.16).
3. Disconnect lamp wire harness connector.
4. Separate lamp from bumper.

INSTALLATION
Base and Standard Bumper
1. Position lamp in vehicle.
2. Connect lamp wire harness connector.
3. Install screws attaching lamp to bumper.
4. Install license plate.
5. Connect the battery negative cable.

Step Bumper
1. Connect lamp wire harness connector.
2. Position lamp in bumper
3. Install screws attaching lamp to bumper
4. Connect the battery negative cable
