REMOVAL1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
3. Remove the brake caliper and rotor.
4. Remove the bolts attaching sensor to the hub/ bearing.
5. Remove the clamps securing the sensor wire to the control arm and the inner fender panel.
6. In the engine compartment, disconnect the sensor wire and remove sensor.
INSTALLATION
1. Guide the sensor wire around the upper control arm.
2. Position the sensor on the hub/bearing and install the attaching bolts. Tighten bolt to 18 - 25 Nm (160 - 220 inch lbs.).
3. Secure the sensor wire retaining clamps to the control arm and the fender panel with original hardware.
4. In the engine compartment, connect the sensor wire to the harness connector. Insure the wire is routed away from the hot or rotating underhood components.
5. Install the brake rotor and caliper.
6. Install the wheel and tire assembly.
7. Turn the steering wheel back and forth to verify that the wire is clear of the steering and suspension components.
8. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
