IAC Motor (PCM controlled) 1000 rpm (coldstart)
No-Load (Engine Speed) approx. 1800-2000 rpm

Note: The engine idle speed is stabilized by the (preset) factory TPS mechanical adjustment screw. Never attempt to adjust the idle speed using screw. See also, Minimum Air flow Check.

Note: 3.9L/5.2L/5.9L IAC motor located on back of Throttle Body. 4.7L IAC motor located on top of Throttle Body.
