Mode Door Replacement

REMOVAL
The distribution duct contains both the floor-defrost door and the floor-panel door. These mode doors can only be accessed for service with the distribution duct removed from the vehicle.

Floor-defrost Door
1. Remove the distribution duct from the vehicle.
2. Remove the floor-defrost door actuator from the upper half of the distribution duct.
3. Disassemble the distribution duct.

4. Lift the floor-defrost door out of the lower half of the distribution duct.

INSTALLATION
The distribution duct contains both the floor-defrost door and the floor-panel door. These mode doors can only be accessed for service with the distribution duct removed from the vehicle.

1. Install the distribution duct to the vehicle.
2. Install the floor-panel door actuator to the upper half of the distribution duct.
3. Assemble the distribution duct.

4. Using a trim stick or another suitable wide flat-bladed tool, gently pry the lever off of the floor- panel door pivot shaft from the outside of the upper half of the distribution duct.

5. Remove the floor-panel door from the upper half of the distribution duct.
