b. Slide the panel upward to its travel limit using the recessed pull cup (3) for leverage.
c. Slide the panel downward far enough to disengage it from the upper edge of the hole.

3. Reach through the fender liner access opening to remove the nut (7) that secures the stud (6) on the back of the front lamp unit (5) to the upper reinforcement of the fender (1).
4. From the front of the vehicle, remove the two screws (4) that secure the lower edge of the lamp to the lower reinforcement of the fender.
5. Grasp the lamp firmly and pull straight forward to disengage the ball stud (3) on the back of the lamp from the plastic grommet (2) in the upper fender reinforcement.

6. Pull the lamp away from the front fender far enough to access and disconnect three wire harness connections (1) from the following bulb sockets on the back of the lamp:
a. headlamp bulb socket (2)
b. front park/turn signal bulb socket (4)

a. headlamp bulb socket (2).
b. front park/turn signal bulb socket (4)
c. front side marker bulb socket (3)
3. Rearrange the wire harnesses as necessary to prevent them from becoming pinched between the back of the lamp housing and the fender.

4. Insert the stud (6) on the back of the lamp (5) into the hole in the upper reinforcement of the fender (1).
5. Align the ball stud (3) on the back of the lamp with the plastic grommet (2) in the upper fender reinforcement.

9. Reinstall the access panel (2) into the access opening in the front fender liner (1). To install the panel:
a. Engage the long slotted tabs on the back of the upper edge of the panel with the upper edge of the hole.
b. Slide the panel upward to its travel limit then push the lower edge of the panel forward until the short slotted tabs on the back of the panel engage the lower edge of the hole.
c. Using the recessed pull cup (3) for leverage, slide the panel downward to its travel limit.
