THIS BULLETIN SUPERSEDES TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN 23-006-O2rev A, DATED AUGUST 12, 2002, WHICH SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM YOUR FILES. ALL REVISIONS ARE HIGHLIGHTED WITH **ASTERISKS** AND INCLUDE AN ADDITIONAL INSPECTION OF THE ROOF SEAM.

Water Leak At Grab Handle
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves sealing holes in the roof panel.
MODELS:
**2002 - 2004** (DR) Ram Truck
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Water may enter the vehicle through the secondary door seal retainer or the roof seam, on to the headliner and run down the "A" pillar coming out at the grab handle.
DIAGNOSIS:
If customers indicate that water is coming out the grab handle, perform the Repair Procedure.
PARTS REQUIRED:
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Remove the secondary door seal.
2. Remove the secondary door seal retainer.
3. Apply a small amount of RTV around each of the roof panel holes, making sure to cover the entire perimeter of each hole.
4. **Inspect the roof seam for any sealer skips, particularly at the wrap joint at the upper rear corner of the door opening and the front of the roof seam. (Fig. 2). Apply clear sealer as
5. Install the secondary door seal retainer.
6. Install the secondary door seal.
NOTE:
**In some cases a water leak at the top of the windshield can also drip onto the headliner and work it way to the grab handle. If a leak at the top of the windshield is suspected, seal the area as required.**
