MIL Indicator Output Circuit Open

Test 1:

SYMPTOM
MIL INDICATOR OUTPUT CIRCUIT OPEN

TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the test ABS INDICATOR OUTPUT CIRCUIT OPEN.

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition on and when requested to turn on by the Powertrain Control Module.

SET CONDITION
The Instrument Cluster feedback status on the MIL Lamp shows that an open circuit condition exists. (Above 5.0 volts when ON).
