Grille - Defroster

REMOVAL




1. Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions.
2. Open the trim covers in the a-pillar grab handle (1) and remove the bolts (2).
3. Remove the right and left a-pillar trim panels (1).




4. Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, remove the instrument panel defroster grille.




5. Disconnect the sensor electrical connector (1).
6. Remove the screw and remove the sensor (2).

INSTALLATION




1. Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions.
2. Install the sensor (2) and install the screw.




3. Connect the electrical connector (1).
4. Position the defroster grille (1) into place and and seat the retaining clips (2) fully.




5. Position the a-pillar trim panel tabs (3) into place and seat both a-pillar panels (1) fully.
6. Install the bolts (1) and tighten to 6 N.m (55 in. lbs.).
