WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition on.

SET CONDITION
The Compass Temperature Module detects an internal failure.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Compass temperature module

Diagnostic Test

1. VERIFY OPERATION OF THE COMPASS TEMPERATURE MODULE

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, erase Compass Temperature Module DTCs.
With the scan tool, activate the Compass Temperature Module self test.
With the scan tool, read Compass Temperature Module DTCs.

Q: Does the scan tool display DTC: B2217-EVIC/EOM/CMTC INTERNAL?

YES: Replace the Compass Temperature Module. Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST-VER 1. Body Verification Test
NO: Test complete.
