P0632-ODOMETER NOT PROGRAMMED IN PCM

WHEN MONITORED:
Ignition on.

SET CONDITION:
Odometer is not programed into the PCM. One Trip Fault. Three good trips to turn off the MIL.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Programming mileage into the PCM
- PCM

Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding.

Diagnostic Test

1. PROGRAMMING MILEAGE INTO THE PCM

Ignition on, engine not running.
With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
Using a scan tool, program the mileage into the PCM.
Start the engine.
Allow the engine to reach normal operating temperature.
With a scan tool, read DTCs.

Q: Does the DTC reset?

YES: Replace and program the Powertrain Control Module. Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Powertrain Verification Test
NO: The mileage has been successfully programmed into the PCM. Test is complete. Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Powertrain Verification Test
