Seat Prop Rod - Second Row

SEAT PROP ROD - SECOND ROW - STOW - N - GO

REMOVAL

1. Place second row seat in the upright position.

2. Remove lower front shield (Fig. 75) and (Fig. 76).

3. Remove prop rod top screw (Fig. 77).

4. Remove lower attaching screw (Fig. 78).
5. Remove prop rod.

INSTALLATION

1. Place seat in tumbled position (upright vertical).
2. Slide seat along slide bolt to extreme outboard position. (Fig. 78).
3. Pull seat down toward strikers until rear legs are just above strikers but don't latch. Do not let seat move inboard while doing this. (Fig. 77).
4. While holding seat just above strikers, place prop rod into position and torque the upper prop rod screw into the prop rod bracket on the riser 34 N.m 25 ft.lbs).
5. While still holding the seat rear legs above the strikers, torque the lower prop rod screw into the palnut on the lower prop rod bracket 34 N.m (25 ft.lbs).
6. Latch seat onto strikers and install front shield.
