REMOVAL

LHD

1. Disconnect battery negative cable.
2. Remove instrument panel lower silencer (Figure 1).

3. Remove knee bolster (Figure 2).

4. Disconnect interlock switch connector (Figure 3).
5. Remove interlock switch by depressing four (4) plastic wing tabs, and sliding switch through mounting bracket (Figure 3). If difficulty is encountered gaining access to and removing interlock switch, removing the upstop switch/bracket assembly (Figure 3) allows for over-travel of the pedal, giving more room for interlock switch access.

6. Remove interlock switch harness from pedal bracket at retainer. Remove switch.

10. Remove interlock switch harness from pedal bracket at retainer. Remove switch (Figure 6).
