Figure 1 Differential Assembly






The 40/41TE differential is a conventional open design. It consists of a ring gear (2) (Figure 1) and a differential case (1). The differential case consists of pinion and side gears (6), and a pinion shaft (5). The differential case is supported in the transaxle by tapered roller bearings.
