EVENT 0929-ENGINE CAN BUS - PLAUSIBILITY ERROR OF VEHICLE SPEED SIGNAL VIA CAN

For a complete wiring diagram refer to Diagrams/Electrical.

- When Monitored:

Ignition on and battery voltage greater than 10 volts.

- Set Condition:

An active DTC is stored in the ESP Module. One Trip Fault. Three good trips to turn off the MIL.





Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding.

Diagnostic Test

1. DTC PRESENT IN ETC CONTROLLER

This is an informational DTC letting you know that a DTC(s) is stored in the Electronic Stability Control Module or a CAN bus Failure occurred.

Using a scan tool, read the Electronic Stability Control Module DTC and perform the appropriate Diagnostic Procedure.

PCM Diagnostic Information complete.
