0485-COOLANT TEMPERATURE TOO HIGH

- When Monitored:

With the engine running, battery voltage greater than 10 volts and no related DTCs present.

- Set Condition:

The PCM detects that the engine coolant temperature has exceeded the maximum acceptable value.





Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding.

Diagnostic Test

1. CHECKING THE ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM OPERATION

Perform the procedure *CHECKING THE ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM OPERATION.

Were any problems found?

Yes

- Repair as necessary.
- Perform the PCM Verification Test. Powertrain Verification Test

No
