Installation
INSTALLATION
1. Install the lower control arm (3) to the frame. Hand tighten the nuts (1) and bolts (2).
2. Install the spring stop plate. See torque specification table.
3. Install the steering knuckle into the lower ball joint. Tighten to 170 Nm (125 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the strut bolts (2) to the steering knuckle. Tighten to 140 Nm (103 ft. lbs.) Plus an additional 120� turn.
5. Attach the tie rod end (3) and shield (5) to the steering knuckle (6). Tighten the nut (4) to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.) 140 Nm (103 ft. lbs.) Plus an additional 60� turn
6. Install the wheel sensor wire to the routing clip.
7. Install the rotor (3) and the set screw (1) Tighten to 22 Nm (194 in. lbs.).
8. Install the disc brake caliper adapter (1) to the knuckle. Tighten to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.) Plus an additional 40� turn.
9. Install the strut (2) into the upper strut hole (1) rear half of the wheel well liner.
10. Lower the vehicle.
11. Install the upper strut bolts (3). Tighten to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). Then install the floor pan screws (10 and floor mat (2).
12. Raise the vehicle.
13. Install the front tire & wheel assembly.
14. Lower the vehicle.
15. Tighten the lower control arm nuts (1) and bolts (2) to the frame to 172 Nm (125 ft. lbs.) Plus an additional 90� turn with full vehicle weight.
16. Apply brake to actuate brake pressure.
17. Perform a front wheel alignment
