448E-REAR LEFT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR - IMPLAUSIBLE

- When Monitored:

Continuously with the ignition on, one invalid message received at least once.

- Set Condition:

When the Anti-Lock Brake Module detects an incorrect wheel speed sensor signal for approximately 200 mSec.









1. CHECK IF 448E REAR LEFT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR-IMPLAUSIBLE DTC IS PRESENT

With the scan tool, read the DTCs.

Is DTC 448E Rear Left Wheel Speed Sensor- Implausible present?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- Perform the ABS INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Testing and Inspection




2. WHEEL SPEED SENSOR DTCS

With the scan tool, read the DTCs.

Are any other Wheel Speed Sensor DTCs present?

Yes

- Refer to appropriate wheel speed sensor diagnostic procedure.
- Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST. ABS Verification Test

No

- Replace the Anti-Lock Brakes Module.
- Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST. ABS Verification Test
