4550-WHEEL SPEED SENSOR - RPM IMPLAUSIBLE SIGNAL ON 3 SENSORS

- When Monitored:

Continuously with the ignition on, one invalid message received at least once.

- Set Condition:

When the Anti-Lock Brake Module detects two incorrect wheel speed sensor signals for approximately 200 mSec.









1. CHECK IF 4550 WHEEL SPEED - RPM IMPLAUSIBLE SIGNAL ON 3 SENSORS DTC IS PRESENT

With the scan tool, read the DTCs.

Is DTC 4550 Wheel Speed - RPM Implausible Signal On 2 Sensors present?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- Perform the ABS INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Testing and Inspection




2. WHEEL SPEED SENSOR DTCS

With the scan tool, read the DTCs.

Are any other Wheel Speed Sensor DTCs present?

Yes

- Refer to appropriate wheel speed sensor diagnostic procedure.
- Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST. ABS Verification Test

No

- Replace the Anti-Lock Brakes Module.
- Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST. ABS Verification Test
