Installation

INSTALLATION





1. When installing the left side fender, position the fender onto the Front End Sheet Metal mounting hydroform and slide under the power distribution center.
2. When installing the right side fender, position the fender onto the FESM mounting hydroform and slide under the battery tray and air cleaner mounting brackets.

NOTE: Tighten the fender fasteners only after all fasteners are installed loosely and fender is adjusted for gap and flush.

3. Loosely install the upper FESM mounting bolts.
4. Loosely install the bolt attaching the rear upper fender to the hood hinge.
5. Loosely install the bolt attaching the rear upper fender to the a-pillar.
6. Loosely install the two bolts located in the headlamp opening.
7. Loosely install the bolt located inside the wheel well.
8. Loosely install the two lower bolts located at the a-pillar.
9. Check the fender positioning and adjust as required by adding shims.
10. Tighten three rear fender bolts to 17 Nm (150 in. lbs.).
11. Tighten four front fender bolts to 9 Nm (80 in. lbs.).
12. When installing the left side fender, install the integrated power module tray bolts to the FESM and tighten to 13 Nm (115 in. lbs.).
13. When installing the right side fender, install the battery tray.Battery Tray - Installation
14. Install the air cleaner mounting bolts and tighten to 10 Nm (85 in. lbs.).
15. Install the antenna, if necessary. Antenna Body & Cable - Installation
16. Install the cowl grille. Cowl Top Panel - Installation
17. Install the front fender liner, Installation.
18. Install the headlight assembly. Front Lamp Unit - Installation
19. Install the grille. Grille - Installation
