REMOVAL

NOTE: Right seat shown in illustrations. Left seat similar.





NOTE: Illustration shown with cushion side shield and riser removed for clarity.

1. Remove the seat from the vehicle and place it on a workbench.
2. Remove the outboard seat side shieldsSeat Side Shield - 2nd Row Swivel - Removal.
3. Remove the screw (1) that secures the seat pivot release handle (2) to the pivot release lever (3).
4. Remove the pivot release handle from the lever by pulling straight outward on the handle.




5. Remove the outboard seat riser (3) from the pivot mechanism (2) to gain access to the seat pivot latch (1)Seat Riser - Removal.




6. Remove the spring (2).
7. Remove the two screws (4 and 6) that secure the pivot latch (1) to the pivot mechanism (3).
8. Remove the pivot latch and rubber isolator (5) from the pivot mechanism.
