Seat Release Handle - 2nd Row Swivel - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Remove the seat from the vehicle and place it on a workbench.
2. Using trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, disengage the retaining tabs that secure the seat cushion front shield (1) to the front of the seat (2) and remove the shield.




NOTE: Illustration shown with riser removed from seat for clarity.

3. Place the seat on its back and remove the two push-pin retainers (6 and 8) that secure the handle front cover (2) to the seat release handle (9) located at the front of the seat riser assembly (5).
4. Hold the two plastic red towers (3) located at the front of the seat release handle and remove the two screw (1 and 4) at the rear of the handle.
5. Remove the rear cover (7) from the seat release handle.
6. Carefully disengage the two plastic tabs that secure the inside of the handle front cover to the seat release handle and remove the front cover.
7. If the seat release handle is damaged or inoperative, replace the seat riser assemblySeat Riser - Removal.
