2nd Row Swivel

REMOVAL

NOTE: Right seat shown in illustrations. Left seat similar.





1. Remove the seat from the vehicle and place it on a workbench.
2. Remove the seat side shieldsSeat Side Shield - 2nd Row Swivel - Removal.
3. Remove the seat cushion side shieldsSeat Cushion Side Shields - Removal.
4. If equipped with heated seats, remove the two screws (2) that secure the electrical contact (4) to the outboard seat riser (3) and disengage the wire harness retainer (5) from the riser and position the contact and wire lead out of the way.
5. If servicing the pivot mechanism (1), disengage the wire harness retainer from the pivot mechanism.




NOTE: Outboard side of seat shown. Inboard side similar. Illustration shown with seat back and hinges removed for clarity.

6. Remove the four bolts (1 and 3) that secure each seat riser (4) to the pivot mechanism (2) and remove the risers as necessary.
7. Remove the four bolts (1 and 3) that secure each seat riser (4) to the pivot mechanism (2) and remove the risers as necessary.
8. If required, remove the seat release handle covers from the seat release handle located at the front of the seatSeat Release Handle - 2nd Row Swivel - Removal.
