INSTALLATION

NOTE: Right seat shown in illustrations. Left seat similar.





1. Position the pivot latch (1) and rubber isolator (5) onto the bottom of the pivot mechanism (3). Make sure the rubber isolator is properly located on the pivot mechanism.
2. Install the two screws (4 and 6) that secure the pivot latch to the pivot mechanism. Tighten the screws to 29 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the spring (2).
4. Install the seat pivot release handlePivot Release Handle - 2nd Row Swivel - Removal.




NOTE: Outboard side of seat shown. Inboard side similar. Illustration shown with seat back and hinges removed for clarity.

5. Position each seat riser (6) to the pivot mechanism (5) and install the four bolts (1 and 4). Tighten the bolts to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the eight spacers (2) and the seat tracks (3) onto the pivot mechanism.
7. Install the four nuts (7 and 8) that secure each seat track to the pivot mechanism. Tighten the nuts to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).




8. If equipped with heated seats, engage the wire harness retainers (5) and install the two screws (2) that secure the electrical contact (4) to the outboard seat riser (3). Tighten the screws securely.
9. Install the seat cushion side shieldsSeat Cushion Side Shields - Installation.
10. Install the seat side shieldsSeat Side Shield - 2nd Row Swivel - Installation.
11. Install the seat into the vehicle.
