B19F7-LEFT REAR WINDOW SWITCH CIRCUIT LOW - LRDM





For a complete wiring diagram REFER to DIAGRAMS/ELECTRICAL .


- When Monitored:
Continuously.

- Set Condition:
The Left Rear Window Switch circuit is held below 0.5 volts for over one seconds.






Diagnostic Test


1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, erase all DTC's.
Operate the Left Rear Window Switch several times.
Wait 30 seconds.
With the scan tool, read DTC's.
Does the scan tool display this DTC?

Yes


- Go To 2


No


- The condition that caused this symptom is currently not present. Check for an intermittent condition by inspecting the related wiring harness for chafed, pierced, pinched, and partially broken wires. Also, inspect the related connectors for broken, bent, pushed out, spread, corroded, or contaminated terminals. Repair as necessary.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test


2. LEFT REAR WINDOW SWITCH




Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Left Rear Window Switch connector.
Turn the ignition on.
Wait 30 seconds.
With the scan tool, read DTC's.
Does this DTC reset?

Yes


- Go To 3


No


- Replace the Left Rear Window Switch.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test


3. (Q1) LEFT REAR WINDOW SWITCH MUX CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND




Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Left Rear Door Module C2 connector.
Measure the resistance between ground and the (Q1) Left Rear Window Switch Mux circuit.
Is the resistance above 10k ohms?

Yes


- Replace the Left Rear Door Module.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test


No


- Repair the (Q1) Left Rear Window Switch Mux circuit for a short to ground.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.Body Verification Test
