Theory of Operation
Whenever a fobik is inserted in the Wireless Ignition Node (WIN) base station, the WIN performs an internal self test. The repair of this fault condition does not involve any external wiring and centers on verifying the integrity of the module's internal circuitry.
- When Monitored:
The WIN checks the status of the internal antenna used to send and receive communication with the fobiks.
- Set Condition:
This DTC sets when the WIN detects a failure of the internal antenna.
